MEC and United for Sport are proud to offer you unique coaching for the MEC Ottawa Gatineau Park Marathon. Our free training programs are at the heart of United for Sport's mission : foster collaboration between elite athletes and their community.
Free training programs
United for Sport offers 8-week programs for the marathon, the half-marathon and the 5 km race (start on September 10). These programs are offered to you thanks to the involvement of Olivier Babineau and Maxime Leboeuf, elite runners who wish to share their knowledge and their passion.

To access the programs, please complete the form below. You will then receive an email containing all training programs. During your preparation, your coaches will contact you by email to share advice and important information about your program. If you no longer wish to receive emails from United for Sport, you can unsubscribe at any time.
Group warm-up before the race
Before each race, United for Sport athletes-coaches will host a group warm-up to teach runners an effective routine to prepare the body for the effort. They will also provide advice aimed at gaining speed in ascents and descents. The warm-ups are suitable for runners of all levels and will last between 30 to 45 minutes.
Important details about the warm-up (time, meeting point, etc.) will be communicated by MEC to all participants a few days before the race and on the event website.
